Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint

I'm definitely slow on the uptake to me writing a post on Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paints but i really really rate them so much i just couldn't not!

For those of you that have somehow missed the craze Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint is a normal nail varnish that leaves a "hi shine gel finish". For the bargain price of £3.99 (and Barry M is nearly always on 3 for 2 offer) i really don't think you can go wrong. The results really are nearly as good as a gel manicure and obviously you don't have the annoying problem of struggling to remove it because it just comes off with normal nail varnish remover.
I've got this nail polish in two of the new shades in the collection, Papaya which is a gorgeous coral and Greenberry a rich mint green. There are 18 shades in the Gelly Hi shine range now and i can't wait to add more to my collection.
Everytime i use these nail paints the results are flawless. You could definitely get away with only one coat of these shades as they are very opaque right away. I do use two coats, just out of habit and i like quite a chunky gel effect but you definitely don't need a top coat as well, you can see how shiny the polish is just on its own. These nails were nearly a week old as well and haven't chipped at all (i think there's a little scuff on my ring finger but that was from when i painted them! *note to self: need to improve painting skills*)
I love these nail paints and am always so impressed with all the new products Barry M have been bringing out recently, especially in the nail department. They have so many effects, shatter, magnetic, glitter, gel mastered for such an affordable price. Big winner!
Which Gelly Hi Shine shades do you have?
